DIVISION IN APARTMENT RIGHTS

By splitting a building into apartment rights, units such as houses, offices, storage, and parking lots can be separately transferred. That is called an apartment right.

As the owner of an apartment right, you will become a member of the (home) owners association of the building, wherein the unit has a part. The association’s rules are recorded in the divisional deed, which is drawn up by a notary.
